The Adams Group taps Sarah Watson to serve as digital strategist

The Adams Group has tapped Sarah Watson to serve as digital strategist for the Columbia-based marketing communications firm.

Having served as a digital account relationship specialist for The State newspaper in Columbia and most recently as a digital advertising relationship specialist for McClatchy Interactive in Raleigh, N.C., Watson brings with her a range of digital skills and expertise.

“We are very pleased to have Sarah join The Adams Group,” said the agency’s president and CEO Wayne Adams. “Sarah possesses not only the skills and expertise needed in today’s ever-changing digital marketplace, but the problem-solving ability our clients require to stay ahead of the competition. She will be a tremendous asset to our team."

A native of New Jersey, Watson graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in biology and worked for the New Jersey Parks Service before returning to the Palmetto State in 2011 to work for The State’s advertising division.

Watson will focus on a variety of digital initiatives from online advertising to programmatics and social media engagement.

“Digital marketing changes so frequently. It’s always evolving,” she said. “I want to help clients make sense of it all and help them to make smart marketing choices.”
